Brian Koval - A Personal Profile

Who I am

My Life's sacred design is best described as “to pursue, participate in, and bear witness to the restoration / transformation of people, places and things to their divine beauty and purpose.”

What I do

I currently invest my time and energy managing a portfolio of “projects,” each of which is a manifestation of My Life’s sacred design. Those projects include:

Financial Life Planning
Personal Coaching
Restoration of Cool Things
Conscious & Simple Living Practices

I stand for and believe in:

  • The unlimited possibilities that exist within and around each of us.
  • The power of our own awareness and its influence in our life and the lives of those with whom we are interconnected.
  • The concept of "interspace."
  • The fact that each of us has natural gifts and talents to offer the world and that the world cannot be completely whole without those gifts and talents being fully realized.

Others have described me as being:

“One of the most intense and passionate people I've met”
“Capable of amazing displays of creative energy and color”
“A Passionate Visionary with Real World Experience”
“A challenger to the status quo committed to profound transformational change"

The path I followed to get here:

I spent 15 years in corporate jobs, from the warehouse floor to senior leadership. In 1997, I summoned the courage to consciously alter and redirect my life course. Over the next 6 years my decision would have the following effects:

  • The conscious descent of the corporate ladder, which involved exchanging a job title of Group Manager for a Life title of Instigator, Creative Disruption.
  • Job elimination (twice).
  • Divorce.
  • The purchase of and commitment to restore a 150 year old home in SE Michigan.
  • The conscious co-creation of a love relationship with my dear friend of 15 years resulting in an unforgettable wedding in May 2004.
  • A complete renovation of my personal, familial, and professional pursuits.
